  1. Thank you for the link in your post. It was an informative read and the jist I understood was that the technology revolution is threatening the print media's business model.

    A while back you posted a couple of book titles to read and I managed to get one of them sort of (The Ingenuity Gap").It is a bit of a tough read but the research done by the author is very informative.

    Putting the two streams of thought it would be reasonable to conclude that not only is print in trouble but other business models as well. The stock market has changed from value based on income potential to maximizing profits on fluctuations, governments are running based on polls rather than leadership and debate and corporate structures have changed from a small group of owners who wanted to build a company over time to multiple owners like stockholders, income funds etc who demand quarterly short term profits rather than a long term strategy.
