It shows we are expecting a wider and deeper agenda than just lower taxes and fast-as-you-can wealth creation for a few at the top.

It shows a growing concern for the general well being of the rest of us and even future generations. What kind of a landscape and planet will we leave our kids and grandchildren?

The attitude shift is about expressing concerns over what we value but it is not a value shift.kenchapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11384045981190810115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31415271.post-5379218557357739532008-05-08T22:40:00.000-06:002008-05-08T22:40:00.000-06:00If they were moving to the centre, they'd elect th...If they were moving to the centre, they'd elect the BC NDP instead of the BC Liberals, the Alberta Liberals instead of the Alberta PC's, and the Saskatchewan NDP instead of the Saskatchewan Party.

As you even pointed out, when Albertans want more opposition members, they will elect them. Our province did not.

Western Canada always has and always will be conservative regardless of the party brand, not the mushy middle. This is what makes western Canada a success.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
