It's an in and out scheme designed to placate voters and keep the oil compnaies rolling in money.

When Ed stops the bitumen from leaving Alberta then he, and the like minded anon posters above, can truly say the Alberta PCs are not transferring wealth out of Alberta.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31415271.post-19235585613515648592008-07-14T11:27:00.000-06:002008-07-14T11:27:00.000-06:00Eddie the Unready's "green plan" fails from all pe...Eddie the Unready's "green plan" fails from all perspectives. Giving $2 billion to transit helps the city folk reduce their carbon emissions, but does nothing for rural commuters. D'oh!
And $2 billion to the Big Oil head offices in Houston, Paris and Amsterdam is nothing if not a transfer of Alberta's wealth out of the province. At least Dion's plan keeps the transfer of wealth at home -- to all Canadians. And yes, Mr. Premier, that includes all Oil-bertans, as you like to say!
As long as Harper and Stelmach continue their passionate denials of climate change, they are part of the problem and not aprt of the solution.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31415271.post-41075175424726121762008-07-12T11:48:00.000-06:002008-07-12T11:48:00.000-06:00Stelmach is showing the same incredible leadership...Stelmach is showing the same incredible leadership as Stephen Harper. Or Dion could use that money to increase useless social programs in Ontario and Quebec to buy votes - the tried and true method of Liberals.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
